Back Rolling

In the context of laying resin flooring, back rolling refers to a technique used after applying the resin material onto the floor surface. Once the resin has been poured or spread out, a resin roller is used to roll over the surface again, typically in the opposite direction of the initial application. This helps to ensure an even distribution of the resin, removes any air bubbles trapped within the material, and helps to smooth out the surface for a uniform finish. Back rolling is an important step in the application process to achieve a high-quality, professional-looking resin floor.

Depending on the stage of back rolling, a resin roller can be used to spread the material whereas a spiked roller is more suitable for removing air bubbles.
