Vi Tools provides a range of double faced sanding discs suitable for STR machines , diamond grinding discs and PCD grinding discs to facilitate thorough preparation. Additionally, consider whether priming your floor is needed before resin application.

Vi Tools Polyester Primer/Liquid DPM rollers are the perfect rollers for priming your floor before resin application and are available in a range of sizes, from 9” to 18” and available in a medium and long pile.

Yes, our products can be used to lay most types of garage floor paints.

Common garage floor paints include epoxy-based paints, acrylic paints, and latex-based paints. Epoxy paints are highly durable and resistant to chemicals, making them popular for garage floors. Additionally, there are specialised garage floor coatings like polyurea and polyaspartic coatings known for their quick drying times and high durability. When choosing a paint, consider factors such as the level of traffic in your garage, desired durability, and ease of application.

You will need to decide on what type of coating you will be using and purchase from your desired supplier and then decide on which of the Vi Tools products will be most suitable for you for application. You often find that manufacturers will provide specific guidelines on how and what to use to lay your resin or paint, please refer to the manufacturers guidelines of your chosen material.

We commonly recommend that for smaller jobs such as garage floors rollers such as our 9” or 12” Nylon Blue Stripe Resin Rollers are used alongside the relevant roller frame and poles and that either our 9” paint tray or 12” scuttle can be used to hold the material.
